We are very fortunate to be able to offer in-school dental screenings and fluoride varnishes for our students, in partnership with our county’s Health Smiles team. This will not only allow us to meet our California Oral Health requirement for school entry for our TK and Kindergartners, but also to meet the needs of our other students.

The Healthy Smiles team will be providing in-school clinics twice this school year. The first of which will occur before Winter Break:

·       Wednesday, December 1: CRC.

o   Arrive at 8am set up, start clinic around 8:30

·       Thursday, December 2: QES (both campuses)

o   Pioneer: Arrive at 8am set up, start clinic around 8:30

o   Alder: Arrive at 12pm set up, start clinic around 12:30

·       Wednesday, December 8: TES

o   Arrive approximately 10am set up, start clinic around 10:30

·       Thursday, December 9: CES

o   Arrive approximately 9:30 am set up, start clinic around 10:00

Please look for the take-home packets provided by Healthy Smiles and send them home with your students as soon as possible after the break. I will also be providing digital forms, as I did last year, which will be issued over ParentSquare closer to the end of Thanksgiving break.

I understand we have been inundated with clinics in recent weeks, and our site schedules are full to the brim between now and Winter Break, so I truly appreciate all of your cooperation and collaboration to make these clinics happen for our students.
