Hello Chester Families,
We are all thinking about you as we navigate this disaster. The impact to our community is overwhelming yet we have the strength and resilience to persevere.
At this time, the district is being guided by state and federal officials about the recovery process. The Governing Board has moved the start date of school to September 7, 2021. This may be different for communities that have been directly affected by the Dixie Fire given circumstances outside our control.
We look forward to our students walking through our doors as soon as our community is safe. Mountain Kids, never ever give up, and they never ever give up hope. We will be together to connect and thrive soon.
