On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Chester Jr./Sr. High School will participate in a multi-agency Active Shooter Full-Scale Exercise, coordinated with law enforcement, emergency medical services, fire departments, Seneca Healthcare District, and other community partners.
Because of this exercise, school will release early at 12:10 p.m.. After dismissal, students will not be permitted to return to campus, as the drill will be in progress. Only pre-selected students and staff volunteers will participate in the exercise.

The exercise is closed to the public. For safety, please stay away from the campus and designated areas during the drill.
