Expanded Learning Program
Our Expanded Learning Program, facilitated by our Wendy Cheli, our coordinator, provides after school care for students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade daily until 6 PM. The program, made possible by a grant, is limited to twenty students on a first come first serve basis.
The program, furthering the mission and vision of Chester Elementary, supports the growth and development of the whole child. Nutrition breaks and free play are provided for all students and students receive one on one support with homework daily. Students also participate in engaging projects that are based in the arts and encourage their collaboration, connectivity, and creativity.
