Thriving Thursdays

Thriving Thursdays, occurring approximately every six weeks during the school  year, is a wonderful school wide event that allows students to engage in Purposeful Play. We believe that Purposeful Play builds students connections with all staff members and with their peers across all grades! It fits with our vision to foster the development of the whole child and allows our students voice and choice in their learning.

On Thriving Thursdays, all students, take the afternoon, to visit classrooms throughout the school that offer a variety of different activities. Our staff carefully consider the interests of our students and offer a range of activities that students find engaging.  Activities might be movement based, support students love of the arts or drama, appeal to students love of reading, or support students STEM skills.

From chalk wall murals to LEGO balloon car races; scooter ball to electric circuits; boxing to singing—there is something for everyone on Thriving Thursdays!
